Got a minute to talk? There are a couple of somewhat important things I'd like to ask you about.

And of course, I always have time for a lady, especially you.

Though now I am curious as to what it could be.

It's not anything too dire, at least.

Firstly, I wanted to let you know that Mordred asked me to be her Master recently, and I accepted. I know that the two of you have a history, and I wanted to reach out to you about it. You have a right to know, as my friend.

We have an arrangement, the terms I set being that we're to protect civilians here. In case of an emergency, that's where our focus is.

You became Mordred's Master?

I hadn't realize the two of you were on such good terms.

But I suppose if it keeps her out of trouble and you know what you are getting into, then that is for the best. That one isn't too good at thinking matters through sometimes.

But I will not gainsay it.

For better or worse, yes. We've been spending time together, including moonlacing, and she reminds me of the kind of person I used to be.

She has a good heart, she just needs to learn control and focus. I haven't pried about the source, but I know that rage inside her, and I think I can guide her a bit. I think she needs direction, and an outlet.

I appreciate your understanding, truly.

Direction is one word for it. But yes, I do think it could be good for her, provided she will listen. She's also very stubborn. Always was when she was part of the Round Table, even though she tended to keep apart from us.

Swift kick in the pants, then? We get along, I'm not worried about curbing her stubbornness.

Can you tell me about the Round Table? I haven't wanted to pry too much into either of your pasts, but I am curious.

Then I shall so no more on that front. It's not too different from a Lord and Vassal relationship, so hardly my place.

What is it you would like to know in particular. We had a lot of different members, some of who rotated in and out.

I'm no Lord. Feel free to speak your mind with me, always.

I would like to know what it was like. Things that you did on a day to day basis. I am not the most adept at social things, but you're my friend and she is too. If I can do something that would make your lives happier, then I'd love to.

I shall keep that in mind then.

Where to start then? Church was very important back in those days. Mass was in the morning and we made prayers with every meal.

We also would train a lot in weaponry and discuss strategy. And we accompanied our King on many different outings, even if it was just hawking or hunting.

Of course this isn't to mention more serious matters, such as warfare, adventures or maintaining the peace.

Of course, serious matters.
